Chatbot - Sending welcome message
You can create a chatbot so that new leads receive a welcome message and are added to a segment.
Segments are important to carry out marketing actions according to your business strategy. First, it will be necessary to create the New Leads segment.
Next create a tag named “Returned”, in our example it will be added to a new lead who returned to the support. To learn how to create tags, click here.
Now, let's configure the chatbot.
1 - Access Chatbot in the Menu

2 - Configure the initial part, adding name, advanced triggers, and leave Published at the end of the configuration. To learn more about this initial part of the chatbot, click here.

3 - Click Open builder, then Start
Add the Condition “Lead's segment”, indicate the segment.
In NEGATIVE OUTPUT of the condition, if the lead is not in the segment, add the action “Send a Message”, and also the action “Change the Lead's Segments” adding this new lead to the segment.
In POSITIVE OUTPUT of the condition, if the lead is already in the segment, let's add the tag “Returned”.

Click Apply and Save and Close
