Chatbot - Using Public Calendar Token

To add this feature to your chatbot, follow the steps below:

  1. Create the Chatbot:

  • Go to the chatbot via “Find Services”. Or just type the name, and the feature appears.

  • To create, click “+ New”.

  1. Configure and Create:

  • Enter a Title: Give a descriptive name to your chatbot

  • Enter a Description: detailed about what will happen in the bot

  • Set up a Trigger: Choose a trigger of your preference

  • Click “Open Builder”, to create the bot with its actions and conditions.

  • Pallow leads to talk to the bot multiple times?: It depends on your strategy. If you leave it as “YES”, it will pass through the bot every time the configured trigger is activated.

  1. Building the chatbot:

It is possible to create multiple blocks with actions and/or conditions.

In this example only 1 action block was used, for the purpose of teaching this article.

  • Click the orange dot on the "Start" block and add a "send a message" or "ask a question" action.

  • Click the Token icon 🏷️ and scroll down until you find the options related to the calendar: "Next Meeting" and/or "Calendar". You can also use the search bar within the Token section to locate the desired function by name.

Token for Scheduled Meetings:

  1. (Next Meeting): Calendar name - Sends the name configured in the calendar;

  2. (Next Meeting): Calendar description - Sends the description configured in the calendar;

  3. (Next Meeting): Responsible's First and Last Name - Sends the first and last name of the person responsible configured in the calendar;

  4. (Next Meeting): Link/Location, Day, Time, Time Zone: Sends the information of the meeting scheduled by the Lead, such as date, time, link or location, among other details;

  5. (Next Meeting): Reschedule Link: Sends a link in case of meeting cancellation;

  6. (Next Meeting): Meet Link: Sends the Meet link generated by the calendar.

Token for Sending the Calendar Access Link:

(Calendar): Sends the calendar link identified by its name.

  1. Save:

After making the necessary creations and changes. Save your chatbot. It is also possible to test it using the box on the right.
