CRM - Changing Value with Opportunity's Custom Field
This guide explains how to create and use a custom field on the opportunity within the CRM, ensuring that the data is configured correctly and used effectively.
1. Creating a Custom Field
Follow the steps below to create a custom field on the opportunity:
Go to Settings and click on Custom Fields.
Create a new field:
In the example, we created a field called InvoiceValue.
Set the field type and the default value.
In the field settings, you can define whether:
The field will be global.
Filling it will be mandatory.
2. Creating a New Opportunity
Select a Lead.
Set a title for the opportunity.
3. Adding the Custom Field to the Opportunity
Open the opportunity and click the gear icon.
Select Edit/Remove and follow the steps below:
Add a section and set a name for it.
Select the custom field created earlier.
Save the changes by clicking the gear again and then the check button.
4. Creating an Opportunity in Another Funnel and Another Stage
We created an automation to move the opportunity to the Sales Funnel, to Stage 2.
The opportunity will be transferred to the Support Funnel, to Stage Sup 1.
When transferred, a new opportunity will be automatically created in the Support Funnel.
