CRM - Automation to change the Opportunity's Funnel Stage after a Pre-Determined Period

With this article, you will learn how to create an automation in your CRM to automatically change Opportunity stages after a predetermined period. The automation can be configured for each stage or for the entire pipeline.

  1. Create an Automation:

  • Access your CRM: Through “Find Services”. Or just type the name, and the function appears.

  • Go to the Automations section.

  • Start creation: Click "Create Automation" using the "+" button.

  1. Configure and Save:

  • Enter a Title: Give the automation a descriptive name.

  • Set up a Trigger: Choose a trigger of your preference.

  • Configure the Condition: It is possible to use the condition “Opportunity time in stage…”

But note: without using triggers, it will be necessary to enable condition checks. These checks will occur at varying time intervals, which can range from minutes to hours, depending on the number of automations and leads in your instance.

  • Choose the Action: Wait.

  • Choose the Action: Change the opportunity pipeline/stage

  • Configure the Action.

  • Describe exactly what the action will do.

  • Save the Automation: After configuring, save the automation.

In this example, no triggers or conditions were used, because the stage change action will be triggered directly by the movements of the Opportunity cards themselves.

  • Start the Automation: Press “play” to begin execution.
