You can also hide users in the CRM filter to prevent them from viewing opportunities that do not belong to them.
Without this setting, it is possible to filter opportunities by users, as shown below:
IMPORTANT: To apply this setting, users must be part of a department. Users WITHOUT A DEPARTMENT will not appear in the filter.
To hide this user filter, go to Settings
Go to Permission Group, click Edit
Deselect the option Filter all assignees
Save the configuration
In the CRM, it will look like this:
