Some customers have the habit of sending multiple messages in quick succession, often even within the same minute. The default behavior of the AI agent is to respond to each message individually, which can be problematic. This not only produces fragmented replies but can also significantly increase the agent's consumption.
To prevent this kind of excessive expense and improve the agent's understanding of context, it is possible to use the setting "Wait N seconds for lead message". This feature allows the agent to wait, for example, 15 seconds before responding, giving the customer time to finish their sequence of messages.
That way, if the lead sends several quick messages, they will all be grouped and treated as a single input. This results in more complete and contextualized responses, in addition to optimizing the use of the AI.
