hands-clappingHow to connect SprintHub to Manus IA's MCP

Introduction

In this article, you will learn how to connect Sprinthub to Manus IA's MCP, understanding everything from initial requirements to step-by-step configuration. The goal is to make the process accessible even for those who have never performed this type of integration, ensuring you can create more advanced, intelligent, and fully tailored automated flows for your business needs.

1. Access Sprinthub's integrations section and generate the MCP token

The first step to start the connection between Sprinthub and Manus IA's MCP is to access the platform's integrations panel. In Sprinthub's main menu, navigate to:

System Settings > Integrations

Inside that section, locate the Sprinthub MCP block and click the Settings option to access the integration details.

On the integration screen, click Create new token to generate a token with the appropriate permissions. Set a name for the token, select the tools it can access, and then click Save.

These steps can be seen in the images below.

2. Generate the MCP connection URL to use in Manus IA

After generating the token, you will need to create the complete connection link by combining the MCP base URL with the access token. This URL will be used directly in Manus IA, within the MCP settings, so the assistant can communicate with the Sprinthub environment.

To build the link, simply add the token as a query parameter (?api_token=) at the end of the base URL.

Example:

This URL should be entered into Manus IA when configuring a new MCP connection, allowing the agent to automatically and securely use the tools provided by Sprinthub.

3. Connecting the MCP URL inside Manus IA

With the MCP connection URL already configured in Sprinthub, the next step is to add it to Manus IA to enable the integration.

In the Manus IA panel, go to:

Settings > Connectors > Add Connector > Custom MCPs

Then select the option Add custom MCP server. On the configuration screen, choose Direct configuration and, in the indicated field, paste the MCP URL that you generated earlier in Sprinthub.

After saving, Manus IA will start to recognize and connect to the Sprinthub environment using the MCP protocol.

These steps can be seen in the images below.

4. Testing the integration in Manus IA

After configuring everything correctly, you can test the integration. Just open Manus IA, ensure the MCP connector is activated, and send a normal message to the assistant. If the connection is working, Manus will automatically use the Sprinthub tools linked to the token.

The image below shows an example of a test performed after the integration.
