# Meta Forms

It is possible to integrate the signup forms of **Facebook and Instagram** with SprintHub. In this way, the leads filled out in the forms will be sent automatically to the platform, allowing your team to follow up on and work with these contacts without the need for manual registration.

### Before you begin

Before performing the form integration, it is necessary that the **Meta accounts are integrated with SprintHub**.

> **Important:** make sure the integration with the Meta accounts is already configured before starting this procedure.

For more information, see the article about **Meta Accounts**.

### Accessing the forms

To begin, access:

**System Settings → External Forms**

<figure><img src="https://684109703-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F9FzUKkagBNy5uQ7AtGNa%2Fuploads%2FySGiKbrxqZQUqDqmFA3n%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=77e53f07-4313-4dbf-8cd8-b83ef42d2dcf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Next, locate the available forms and select the form you want to integrate.

Click the **arrow icon →** to access the form settings.

## Configuring the form

When accessing the settings, you can define how the data submitted by the form will be registered and handled in SprintHub.

The settings are divided into some important steps:

* Field mapping;
* UTM tracking;
* Destination URL;
* Tags and segments;
* Actions taken after the lead enters;
* Handling leads that already exist on the platform.

***

### 1. Field mapping

The first step is to perform the **lead field mapping**.

This setting determines which information filled in by the user on the form will be registered in the corresponding fields of SprintHub.

For example, the name filled in on the form will be associated with the **Name** field of the lead in SprintHub.

> **Important:** it is necessary to have, at minimum, the **Name** field configured so that the lead can be registered and found in SprintHub.

Make sure the fields are configured correctly. Otherwise, important information may not be registered and your team may miss the opportunity to contact the lead.

***

## 2. UTM tracking

Another important setting is **UTM tracking**.

If the form redirects the lead to a website that has SprintHub tracking, it is possible to configure the **Destination URL** and the **UTMs** used in the form.

In this way, SprintHub can relate the visit made by the user to the lead registered later.

This setting is important for monitoring results and for creating **custom reports and dashboards**.

With the UTM data, it is possible to analyze information such as:

* UTM Campaign;
* UTM Source;
* UTM Term;
* UTM Medium.

This way, you can identify which campaigns, sources, and mediums are generating the most leads.

#### Adding more tracking

It is possible to add **more than one tracking** to the same form, allowing you to work with different source configurations.

***

## 3. Additional actions

In the **Additional Actions**section, it is possible to define what will happen to the lead after the form is filled out.

Among the available options are:

#### Add tag to lead

It is possible to add a tag to the lead using the **ad campaign name** as a parameter.

In this way, SprintHub will create a tag related to the campaign responsible for generating the lead.

#### Add the lead to a segment

It is also possible to define a **segment** to automatically receive the new leads registered by the form.

Tags and segments can later be used in **reports and analysis**.

In addition, segments can be used to start **automation flows**.

For example, after the lead enters the segment, it is possible to start actions such as:

* Trigger a chatbot;
* Send an email;
* Perform other automated actions.

To learn more about automations, see the article **Learn how to create automations**.

## What to do when the lead already exists?

During form submission, it may happen that the information belongs to a lead that is already registered in SprintHub.

In this case, you can define which behavior the platform should adopt.

#### Create a new Lead

A new lead will be created in SprintHub.

If necessary, the duplication can be handled later.

#### Update existing Lead

The data submitted by the form will be used to **update the existing lead**, replacing the corresponding information.

#### Do not update the Lead

The existing lead will not be updated.

It will be recorded in the **lead history** that a new form submission was made.

After completing all the settings, click **Save changes**.

***

## 4. Conditions

The **Conditions** allow you to define criteria that the contact must meet for the Extra Actions to be executed.

If the configured conditions are met, the defined actions will be executed for the contact.

If **no condition is added**, the Extra Actions will be executed normally for all contacts who submit the form.

To add a criterion, click **New Condition**.

***

## 5. Extra Actions

The **Extra Actions** are executed after the form is processed.

The fields filled in by the contact in the form are available as **tokens**, allowing this information to be used in the configured actions.

To add an action, click **New Action**.

Each action will be presented with its respective **description**, making it easier to identify what will be done after the form is processed.

> **Important:** the Extra Actions are processed after the form is submitted and can use the data filled in by the contact through tokens.

***

## Testing the integration

After configuring the form, it is possible to run a test to check whether the lead is being sent correctly to SprintHub.

### Example: Instagram form

In the example used, a form was created directly through the **Instagram**.

app. In this case, the **"Learn More"** button was added to the profile. When clicking the button, the user is directed to the form.

> **Important:** to use this setup, use the Instagram app.

<figure><img src="https://684109703-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F9FzUKkagBNy5uQ7AtGNa%2Fuploads%2FkigvxT1B3Zq6M57qKDdk%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=bbb44808-3624-42e1-b6b1-d24477dc6eb8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

After filling out the form, we can check whether the registration was received correctly by SprintHub.

#### Checking the segment

First, access the segment configured to receive the form leads, in this example:

**Instagram Form**

<figure><img src="https://684109703-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F9FzUKkagBNy5uQ7AtGNa%2Fuploads%2FPcCQsZQ1GqW3JfxsBFMf%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=b4020ef5-d5ac-4bc2-b91a-2f2281d8f203" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

It is possible to verify that the new lead was registered.

When accessing the segment, it is also possible to check the **lead creation date**.

When accessing the lead, check the **history**.

In the history, it will be possible to verify that:

* The lead came from filling out the Instagram form;
* It was added to the configured segment;
* It was created automatically in the CRM.

<figure><img src="https://684109703-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F9FzUKkagBNy5uQ7AtGNa%2Fuploads%2F6zf24JiQbfEhsyZ9eOwK%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=dff08054-1b21-42a6-94c4-fac486ef1d4d" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Checking in the CRM

It is also possible to access the **CRM** to verify the opportunity created automatically.

<figure><img src="https://684109703-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F9FzUKkagBNy5uQ7AtGNa%2Fuploads%2FHzN7ERDnLMlh4YBxLvhd%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=8eae0dd3-2cdf-4810-88cb-98dde6066231" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Testing a Facebook form

To run a test with a Facebook form, use the tool provided by Meta:

[Facebook Lead Ads Testing Tool](https://developers.facebook.com/tools/lead-ads-testing?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

When accessing the tool, select:

1. The **Page**;
2. The **form** you want to test.

Then, click **Create Registration**.

<figure><img src="https://684109703-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F9FzUKkagBNy5uQ7AtGNa%2Fuploads%2FBx2v5hMw4yIdd9otDKnj%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=0181d030-996e-4538-b061-329a068c78fe" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="https://684109703-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F9FzUKkagBNy5uQ7AtGNa%2Fuploads%2FCLriK6dljZrTL9ZiZ2FD%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=d2d53f2e-fbdf-4bbb-b076-4525c3387cf9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Facebook will send a test registration to SprintHub.

To run a new test, simply delete the registration created previously and repeat the procedure.
