Wix DNS
Setting up a custom domain to connect Sprinthub to Wix is an essential step to ensure your online presence has a professional identity. Follow this step-by-step guide to complete the setup simply and effectively.
1. Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
A domain registered with Wix.
User access to the DNS dashboard
2. Setup in Wix
Access the Domain Management Panel
Log in to your Wix dashboard.
Navigate to Settings > Domains.
Access the panel to manage DNS
Click the 3-dot icon.
Choose Manage DNS records.
Get the Required DNS Records
In Wix, select the connection method by DNS pointing.
Wix will provide the records you need to configure with your domain provider:
CNAME record: To connect the subdomain "promo" or "lp" to Wix.
Make the first point to sh.sprinthub.site:
Right after saving, validate the pointing in Sprinthub, and soon you will have the option to configure it for our server:
3. Testing and Validation
Check the Settings
In Wix, click Verify Connection to confirm that the DNS records were configured correctly.
Wait for DNS Propagation
Record propagation can take up to 48 hours.
