SprintHub VoIP App

User Manual — SprintHub VoIP

Welcome to SprintHub VoIP. This guide shows, step by step, how to use the application to make calls, view contacts, and track your call history.

Contents

1. Application download

The SprintHub VoIP installer is available within SprintHub itself. Go to:

System Settings > VoIP > VoIP Application

On this screen you will find:

  • The latest version available for download.

  • The buttons to download the installer according to your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).

Choose the package corresponding to your system and wait for the download to finish before proceeding with the installation.

The application is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux. If you do not see your system's option, contact the SprintHub administrator.

2. Installation and security warnings

When you open the installer for the first time, the operating system may display an alert saying the program is from an unknown developer. This is expected and does not mean the application is unsafe — it just means it has not yet gone through the system's full signing process. Follow the instructions below to allow it to run.

Windows

When the warning “Windows protected your PC” appears:

  1. Click More info.

  2. Then click Run anyway to start the installation.

macOS

On macOS, open System Settings > Privacy & Security:

  1. Locate the Security.

  2. section Allow apps from, select App Store and Known Developers.

  3. If the application has been blocked, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to the SprintHub VoIP message.

These warnings only appear the first time you run it. After you allow it, the application opens normally the next time.

3. Login

The first screen is the sign-in screen. Enter the details provided by your company to log in.

Required fields:

  • Instance — the name of your company registered in SprintHub (e.g., company).

  • User — your corporate email (e.g., user@company.com).

  • Password — the same password used in SprintHub.

Click Log in to access the application.

If you do not know your instance or are having trouble logging in, contact the SprintHub administrator at your company.

4. Main menu

After logging in, you will land on the main menu. From here you navigate through all the app's functions.

Available options:

  • Dialer — opens the keypad to enter the number and start a call.

  • Contacts — lists all contacts in your database, with quick search.

  • Calls — displays the complete history of made and received calls.

  • Exit — ends your session and returns to the login screen.

In the bottom-right corner you can see the current version of the application.

5. Contacts

Use this screen to quickly find who you want to call.

How it works:

  • The counter at the top shows how many contacts were found based on your search.

  • Type in the search field to filter by name. The list updates as you type.

  • Each contact shows the name and the phone number.

  • Tap the three-dot menu (to the right of the contact) to see additional options.

To return to the main menu, use the home icon in the top-right corner.

6. Call history

Here you can track all recorded calls, with date, duration, and number.

What each item shows:

  • Contact name (or “Unknown” when the number is not registered).

  • Number dialed or received.

  • Duration of the call in the format HH:MM:SS.

  • Elapsed time since the call (e.g., “12 days ago”).

The icon on the left indicates the type of call — answered, missed, or outgoing. Use the search field to filter by contact number.

7. Dialer

The dialer is the most direct way to make a manual call.

How to use:

  1. Enter the desired number using the numeric keypad.

  2. The number appears at the top of the screen as you type.

  3. Tap the green button with phone icon to start the call.

  4. Use the gray button with X to delete the last digit.

The flag in the top-left corner identifies the country of the detected number.

8. Outgoing number selection

Before completing the call, you choose which number the call will be made from. Useful when your company has multiple lines.

What appears on this screen:

  • At the top, the destination number you are about to dial.

  • Just below, the list of available outgoing numbers for your account.

  • Each option shows the country flag, the number, and a description (e.g., “Main number”, “USA restored”).

Tap the number you want to use as the source of the call. The call starts automatically afterward.

9. Ongoing call

During the call, this is the main screen. It shows all the information about the active call.

Information displayed:

  • Contact name (when identified).

  • To — the number being called.

  • From — the outgoing number being used.

  • Elapsed time — call duration.

  • Associated company, when applicable.

Controls in the bottom bar:

  • Red button — ends the call.

  • Microphone — toggles mute on or off.

  • Speaker — controls volume / audio output.

  • # key — opens the numeric keypad to send tones (DTMF), for example in IVRs.

10. Keypad during call

This screen appears when you tap the button # during a call. It is used to navigate automated menus (IVRs), enter extensions, or send codes.

How to use:

  • The digits you press appear at the top of the screen.

  • Each tap sends the corresponding tone to the ongoing call.

  • The bottom controls continue to work: end, mute, audio, and close keypad.

To return to the main call screen, tap the button again #.

Quick tips

  • Use the dialer for one-off numbers and the contacts for recurring calls.

  • Always confirm the outgoing number before starting an important call — it appears to the recipient.

  • The history helps you resume conversations: tap the contact to see callback options.

  • The home icon at the top of the screens takes you directly to the main menu at any time.
