# Segments - Creating according to the Lead's Date of Birth

## In SprintHub, it is possible to segment Leads based on their date of birth (including day, month, and year). This segmentation can be used in various automations and also as a custom audience in your ad account.

1. **Create the Segment:**

* Go to your Segment via “Find Services”. Or just type the name, and the function appears.
* To create, click “+ New”.

2. **Configure and Create:**

* **Information:** Configure.
* **Enter a Name:** Give your segment a descriptive name
* **Enter an alias:** Shortening of your segment name.
* **Category:** Choose one you prefer. This is optional
* **Custom Audience:** If you want one to be created for your already integrated ad account, leave the option with “YES” enabled.
* **Filters:** Configure

> Here will be the indication of which Lead will participate according to the chosen filter(s).

* If you wish **to already remove the Leads** that do not meet the Segment filter, keep the option with “YES” enabled.
* Choose the filters you prefer.

> In this example, the “day/month/year of the field” was used. There are many filter options here; check which one best suits you.&#x20;

3. **Save:**

Once the necessary changes have been made. Save your segment.&#x20;

The Leads that meet the filter will already start participating in the segment.
