# CRM - How to automatically change the lead position in the funnel
In the sales funnel, it is possible to configure the lead position so that when they send a message, the position changes automatically.
1. CRM Preferences
2. In the Funnel List, choose the existing funnel to edit by clicking Settings. If you want to create a new funnel, click + New Funnel. In this example, we clicked Settings.
3. Click Edit
4. Select Yes to Automatically move opportunity. Save the settings.
