CRM - Advance Notifications for Events

It is possible to send messages to leads days before the date of an event. For example: you want to send a WhatsApp message through automation 5 days before the due date.

The first step is to set up a custom field with the name Due Date; for that, go to the system settings. To do this, access System Settings and choose Lead Custom Fields:

Click on +New and add the name and field type. In our example, it is a Date and Time field. Click Save and Close.

Access the CRM

Choose the pipeline, click the automation icon, and then click + to create a new automation.

NOTE: In this example, we are creating a stage automation, that is, the automation will only be executed when opportunities fall into this stage, and that meet the configured trigger and condition.

In the automation editor add:

• The automation title

• Trigger: The time of day is >> Indicate a time

• Condition: Lead field value >> Due Date (the custom field created earlier) >> Will be in less than >> (number of days)

• Action: Send WhatsApp to the lead >> Write the message that will be sent

• Indicate the opportunity statuses and save the automation
