# CRM - Automation to change the Opportunity Stage in the Funnel after a Pre-Determined Period

## With this article, you will learn how to create an automation in your CRM to automatically change the stages of Opportunities after a predetermined period. The automation can be configured for each stage or for the entire funnel.

1. **Create an Automation:**

* Access your CRM: Through “Find Services.” Or just type the name, and the function appears.
* Go to the Automations section.
* Start creating: Click on "Create Automation" using the "+" button.

2. **Configure and Save:**

* **Enter a Title:** Give the automation a descriptive name.
* **Configure a Trigger:** Choose a trigger of your preference.
* **Set up the Condition:** It is possible to use the condition “Opportunity time in stage…”

> But attention: without using triggers, it will be necessary to enable condition checks. These checks will occur at varying time intervals, which can range from minutes to hours, depending on the number of automations and leads in your instance.

* **Choose the Action:** Wait.
* **Choose the Action:** Change the opportunity funnel/stage
* **Configure** the Action.
* **Describe** exactly what the action will do.
* **Save the Automation:** After configuring, save the automation.

3. **Run the Automation:**

* **Start the Automation:** Press the “play” button to start execution.

Done! Your automation is configured and working.
