Reports - CRM: How to Filter a Custom Field

Creating a Custom Field
To begin, let's create a custom field in the opportunity. Follow the steps below:
Access CRM Settings.
Go to CRM Preferences > Custom Fields.
Click on + New Field.
Fill in the following information:
Field name: Choose a representative name for the field.
Field type: Select from the available options: text, number, date, time, or date and time.
Default value (optional): Define a value that will be filled in automatically, if you wish.
Additional settings:
Global: Check this option if you want the field to appear in all pipelines.

2. Adding the Custom Field to the Opportunity
With the field created, now let's add it to the opportunities screen:
Go to Settings > Edit/Remove (within the Opportunities section).
Click on + Add Field.
Select the custom field you created.
Click Save.
Now, the field will be available to fill in opportunities.
3. Accessing Reports
With the custom field already active, we can create a report by filtering opportunities based on this field:
Go to the Find Services bar > Analyze > Reports.
Click on + New to create a new report.
Select: CRM > Created Opportunities.
4. Applying Filters
In the report, use the filters according to your needs:
Opportunity date: Choose between the options:
Creation date
Win date
Loss date
And the desired period
Opportunities with field:
Select the custom field created earlier.
Choose the value and the desired period for analysis.
Tip:
If you want a more detailed report, it is possible to add more conditions to the filters, further refining the data you want to view.
