# Why did I receive the notice "Waiting for message - This action may take a few moments"

The problem is NOT related to SprintHub; it is a common issue with WhatsApp itself.

Sometimes, the notice above may appear instead of a message. Your calls and personal messages are protected with WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption. This means they stay only between you and the person you're talking to. No one else can read, listen to, or share the content of these conversations, not even WhatsApp. There are a few reasons why a message may be replaced by the notice "Waiting for message. This action may take a few moments.":

* The message could not be delivered.
* You or the other person recently reinstalled WhatsApp.
* You or the other person is not using the [latest version of WhatsApp](https://faq.whatsapp.com/5481509731946576?helpref=faq_content).
* You changed phones and installed WhatsApp on a new device using the same phone number.

You can follow a few steps to try to resolve the problem.

### Open WhatsApp

Open the app and ask the other person to open WhatsApp at the same time as you.

### Check your internet connection

Make sure your internet connection is stable. Try switching your connection between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If no Wi-Fi network is available or if the mobile data network is unstable, look for a place where your connection works better. Learn how to fix connection problems on WhatsApp [in this article](https://faq.whatsapp.com/852892549070029?helpref=faq_content).

### Update WhatsApp

Make sure you and the person you're talking to have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your device. Learn how to update WhatsApp [in this article](https://faq.whatsapp.com/5481509731946576/?helpref=faq_content).

### Ask the person to send the message again

If the message wasn't delivered, ask the other person to send the message again.

### Use your primary device

Open WhatsApp on your primary Android or iOS device. The primary device is the phone used to register your WhatsApp account.

Note: for the other devices to remain connected to your account, you need to open WhatsApp on your primary phone every 14 days.

### Disconnect the device and reconnect it

Follow the steps shown [in this article](https://faq.whatsapp.com/1317564962315842?helpref=faq_content) to disconnect your linked device and connect it again.

As stated in the contract: **The CLIENT is AWARE and AGREES that the use of the WhatsApp integration service, in its WEB version, is a totally EXPERIMENTAL and UNOFFICIAL service, and its use by the CLIENT is subject to acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of the WhatsApp service. The CLIENT also agrees that, because it is an UNOFFICIAL integration, it is subject to blocks and number bans, mainly due to improper use of message sending using the WhatsApp integration. We are NOT responsible for the blocking and/or banning of WhatsApp numbers. The use of this UNOFFICIAL integration is the sole responsibility of the CLIENT. It is the CLIENT's responsibility to comply with all WhatsApp service policies. We are NOT responsible for connection drops, message and/or file delivery and receipt, since the integration, being unofficial, has frequent instabilities. We are NOT responsible if the integration service is out of service for one or more hours or even days, since, as this is an unofficial integration, the WhatsApp service itself may undergo updates that will directly impact the operation of this integration.**
